Our patron saint blesses us once again with a full complement of fresh fruit, vegetables, and fish. This is the largest market on the island and is where you will get all your produce for the next three days until the next market day. It is open from early morning until stalls begin to close around 6pm.
Guests are encouraged to bring along their sherpa to see how real islanders haggle for the best price. It’s quite a show! They can also organise shuttle back to your lodge so you can shop without worry of being weighed down.
This week’s line up of live music includes Las Manos De Ganso, Brava, and Dentro. A real taste of the best soundtrack island life can provide.
This twelve kilometre hike is peppered with tea rooms as it passes through the idilic forests and waterways that make texture Costa Fido. You’ll be guided by Head Ranger Thomaz, who is both our best trailmaster and photographer, so you are sure to find the island’s most beautiful spots as you follow in the footsteps of Charles Kinsley, the island benefactor.
Those who wish to take the Trail over the two days will find a room waiting for them at our world class Overlook hotel. The river alongside the overlook is said to be home to the largest Blue Grouper in the world if an afternoon fishing takes your fancy.
Leaves from Saint Juliard Market at 9:30am.
